REG111 - Oxygen Use and Safety (1.0 HR)
This course is an introduction to oxygen concentrators, oxygen cylinders, liquid oxygen systems and accessories. Because of the multitude of brands of oxygen concentrators and systems on the market, this course will cover oxygen systems, cylinders, accessories and concentrators in the broadest generic terms.

Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Identify the components and various accessories of an oxygen concentrators, tanks, and cylinders;
- Explain who would use an oxygen concentrator;
- Explain how an oxygen can be used safely;
- Identify the safety precautions an oxygen patient should adhere to when using an oxygen tank;
- Identify the components and various accessories of a liquid oxygen system;
- Identify the safety precautions a patient should adhere to when using a liquid oxygen system.
