To enhance the participant's understanding of poisoning in children and adults.
The participant will explore traumatic brain injury, causes, risk factors, signs and symptoms, and preventive measures.
To provide the practicing nurse with the information that he or she needs to understand the NIH Stroke Scale including its purpose, use and implications for care of stroke patients.
Upon completion of this course, the participant will have enhanced knowledge of drowning, those most at risk, and patient teaching that may prevent a drowning.
