All staff working in the long term care setting will increase their and skills in caring for persons diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder. This bundle of courses includes the following modules: Understanding Alzheimer’s Disease, Communication, and Behavior Management.

This bundle of courses includes the following modules: Philosophy of Care Family & Staff Issues, Activities for Persons with Dementia, Activities of Daily Living Medication & Nutrition, and Ethical Issues.

All staff working in the long term care setting will increase their knowledge and skills in caring for persons diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder. This bundle of courses includes the following modules:  Dementia Training: Understanding Alzheimer’s Disease, Communication, Behavior Management, Philosophy of Care, Family & Staff Issues, Activities for Persons with Dementia, Activities of Daily Living, Medication & Nutrition, and Ethical Issues.

Upon completion of the Safety Fair Series the participant will have an in depth review and understanding of regulatory and compliance topics; many which are required annually. The following courses are included in the Safety Series: Employee Safety (1.0 HR); Environmental Safety (1.0 HR); Infection Control (1.0 HR); Resident Rights (1.0 HR).
