Upon completion of this course the participants’ will have an increased understanding of COPD.
Purpose: Upon completion of this course the participants’ will have an increased understanding of COPD.
Objectives:
- Discuss COPD;
- Explain the respiratory system;
- List diagnostic studies often done to diagnose COPD;
- Describe complications of COPD;
- List and discuss nursing diagnoses and interventions for the patient with COPD;
- Discuss pulmonary rehabilitation.
