This course will discuss norovirus – including causes, signs and symptoms, treatment, and prevention techniques. The course will also briefly examine the trends and types of annual outbreaks that occur.
Purpose: Healthcare professionals will better understand noroviruses and how to prevent their transmission.
Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to
1. Discuss noroviruses, including trends and outbreaks; symptoms of the illness, transmission of the disease, and treatment options.
2. Explore the prevention of noroviruses.
