This course will help you gain the knowledge and skills needed to successfully manage and supervise people working in a health care facility.
Purpose: This course will help you gain the knowledge and skills needed to successfully manage and supervise people working in a health care facility.
Objectives:
- Understand the organizational structure and communication systems of health care facilities;
- Describe the legal and ethical aspects of health care supervision;
- Describe leadership qualities that will assist in meeting health care facility goals;
- Clarify participants own personal philosophy, values, and leadership style and recognize how these characteristics may influence those they supervise;
- Understand the supervisor's role and responsibility in specific management tasks such as team building, problem solving, conflict resolution, evaluation, discipline, and change.
