Purpose: Medication aides will learn of the dangers of medication errors and how to prevent them.

3. Identify common medication errors; 
4. Discuss legal issues related to medication administration; 
5. Explain how medication errors occur and prevention strategies; 
6. List potentially dangerous abbreviations and dose designations.
