Objectives:
- Discuss diabetes, including the types of diabetes;
- List the risk factors for type 2 diabetes;
- List and explain the symptoms of hypo- and hyperglycemia;
- Discuss tests and treatment for diabetes;
- Discuss the care of the patient with diabetes;
- Explain complications associated with diabetes.
