The purpose of this course is to present health care professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the etiology, symptoms, and management of urinary incontinence which are outlined under Federal legislation – (F315) 42 CFR 483.25(d) (1) (2).

- Explain risk factors for urinary incontinence;
- Differentiate between the classifications of urinary incontinence;
- Discuss the components of urinary incontinence assessment;
- Outline the treatment options for urinary incontinence.
