Health care personnel will learn the techniques of basic first aid.
Purpose: Health care personnel will learn the techniques of basic first aid.
Objectives:
- List the goals of first aid;
- Explain basic first aid interventions for a variety of specific situations;
- Discuss common medical emergencies and the appropriate care and response;
- Explore first aid interventions appropriate to the site of the injury;
- Discuss legal implications of providing first aid.
