Purpose: To identify ways to promote environmental safety in the healthcare setting.
Objectives:
- Discuss fire safety in the workplace;
- Define hazard communication in the healthcare setting;
- Explore lockout/tagout regulations;
- Identify and discuss four external and/or internal disasters identified in this course.
