  2. Identify the basic concepts of cultural diversity, including values, worldview, communication, and time orientation; 
  3. Discuss considerations to make when caring for patients of various religious and spiritual beliefs; 
  4. Discuss cultural differences as they relate to the African American, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Bosnian, Hispanic, and Asian cultures; 
  5. Discuss age-specific considerations including neonate to preschool, school age children, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients; 
  6. Describe the process for developing cultural competency.
