NUR109 - Coronary Heart Disease (1.5 HR)

Purpose: The healthcare practitioner will enhance her knowledge of coronary heart disease and its impact on the individual.

Objectives:

1. Discuss coronary heart disease, including causes, risk factors, signs and symptoms of CHD, diagnosis and treatment; 
2. Describe lifestyle changes that may be important to preventing or reducing the risk of CHD; 
3. Discuss cardiac rehabilitation.
