Purpose: All staff working in the long term care setting will increase their knowledge and skills in caring for persons diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder.
Objectives:
- Describe and give examples of group and individual activities appropriate for persons with dementia;
- Explain the significance of person centered activities for individuals with dementia.
