Objectives: 1.Discuss the different types of medications prescribed to treat COPD and the actions that make them therapeutic; 2. Explain the common methods of administration of COPD medications; 3. Discuss possible common side effects associated with the different medications used for COPD and the associated precautions recommended to limit the risk of side effects; 4. Discuss some of the common devices used for administration of COPD medications including the device sanitation processes.
