The state guidelines for Preceptor Curriculum list five topics and eleven areas of focus. Our Preceptor course incorporates thirteen additional subject areas such as Aspects of Aging, Marketing & Sales, Insurance, Legal Aspects, and Public Relations. We believe these skill sets are important for an AIT to acquire from his or her Preceptor.

The following training meets the Indiana Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) annual required six (6) hours of annual in-service training to renew QMA certification each year.  For insulin administration certified QMAs, one (1) additional hour of in-service training directly related to insulin administration must also be completed each year.

Upon completion of the Caring for You Series of courses the caregiver will have enhanced knowledge and understanding of a variety of care needs of elderly persons with chronic and acute diseases. Courses in the Caring for You Series include: Critical Thinking (0.5 HR); Nursing Process (0.5 HR); Parkinson's Disease (1.0 HR); Caring for You: COPD (2.0 HR); F314 Preventing Pressure Ulcers (1.0 HR); Caring for You: Stroke (2.0 HR).

CE Solutions offers more than 100 nursing hours covering a variety of health care topics. The topics include dementia care, legal aspects of nursing, endocrinology, mental health care, and autoimmune diseases.

Upon completion of the Safety Fair Series the participant will have an in depth review and understanding of regulatory and compliance topics; many which are required annually. The following courses are included in the Safety Series: Employee Safety (1.0 HR); Environmental Safety (1.0 HR); Infection Control (1.0 HR); Resident Rights (1.0 HR).
