The following training meets the Indiana Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) annual required six (6) hours of annual in-service training to renew QMA certification each year.  For insulin administration certified QMAs, one (1) additional hour of in-service training directly related to insulin administration must also be completed each year.

Upon completion of the Caring for You Series of courses the caregiver will have enhanced knowledge and understanding of a variety of care needs of elderly persons with chronic and acute diseases. We believe these skill sets are important for an AIT to acquire from his or her Preceptor.
